You’ll want to start by taking more club and swinging softer than usual. With less swing speed you produce less backspin, which results in less loft, keeping your ball flight nice and low.

Move the ball back in your stance at address. This will put your sternum and your hands ahead of the ball – essentially de-lofting the club at impact for a lower trajectory.

You need to drive through impact and shift your weight as usual. A cut-off follow through will reduce the speed created by a full release and, as before, less speed creates a lower ball flight.
